Meal for two

Why go out when a delicious, speedy and easy romantic meal is at your fingertips?

It needn’t be anything elaborate – stir fries are quick, once you’ve done the initial chopping, and easy to eat, even if you’re balancing a plate on your knee. Figs have the same aphrodisiac reputation as oysters, for a speedy starter, and you can finish off with two spoons and a tub of your favourite ice-cream.

The following recipes all come from Tana Ramsay’s newest book, Home Made, which is subtitled “Good, honest food made easy”, and is perfect for anybody who wants to feed their loved ones – children or adults - great food every day and still have time left over.
